This is the highest quality film format, which also comes with the benefit of having the capability to play the audio description as a separate track and through a separate output. It is typically available only in traditional movie theaters.<\/li>\n<li><strong>ProRes<\/strong>\u00a0is a high-quality video codec developed by Apple Inc. ProRes is natively supported on Apple devices, but it can also be played on other platforms with the appropriate software. Some media players, like QuickTime, VLC and others with the appropriate codecs installed, can play ProRes files.\u00a0 The audio description is provided as a seperate audio file which should be played simultaniously with the main film file (requires accurate manual syncing).<\/li>\n<li><strong>MP4<\/strong>\u00a0is one of the most popular and widely supported video formats in use today due to its versatility and efficiency. It is mostly recommended for streaming, but can be used for in-person projection.
